The itinerary outlined below is tentative and may be adjusted closer to race day.

Some key tentative dates are outlined below:

3rd March 2023: Open for Registrations
30th April 2023: Close of normal registrations
2nd June 2023: Race Pack collection Kota Kinabalu
3rd June 2023: Race start 100 mile race
4th June 2023: Race start 25km

Registration and Race Pack Collection

There are 3 processes in the full registration to take part in the event.

1) Registration and payment to "sign up" for the event - please refer to the registration page on this web site which will re-direct you to Racematix.

2) Race pack collection on the Friday immediately prior to the event. Please see below for details on schedule and procedures. If you are unable to make it for the race pack collection, we offer alternative options for a "late pickup" at the race venue on the morning of the race (needs to be booked in advance) or having the race pack collected by a representative. Please refer to details further below.

3) Final registration at the start venue in the hour immediately before race start to register your presence and participation in the event (involves scanning of your timing chip if electronic timing is applied). Please refer to "Transport & Logistics" under "Race Information".

Race Pack Collection

PLEASE NOTE EXACT DETAILS MAY BE UPDATED PRIOR TO THE RACE SO PLEASE CHECK PRIOR TO THE EVENT

Race Pack (RP) collection will be at the Damai Community Hall also used for the RP collection for the BUTM and TMBT. RP is set to be held on the Friday before the race. Please refer to schedule below for timing.

Tentative itinerary is outlined in table below. Please read on for instructions on procedures during RP collection and in case your flight does not allow you to make it within these times.

To facilitate a smooth registration, please take note that:

All participants must register in person and bring photo identification for verification (if not able to make it in time, please see options below)
For any under-18 competitors (for 25km course only), you must have a release form signed by a legal guardian and bring this along.

We urge all competitors to pick up race packs early in the day to avoid congestion and delays in the late hours.

For any out-of-state competitors arriving later and unable to make the registration within the stipulated time, we offer two options:

Get a representative to pick up the Race Pack on your behalf (within the stipulated times) and hand the race pack over to you (please note requirements for documentation listed below)
Against an admin fee get the Race Pack transferred to the start venue and pick it up prior to the start on the Saturday/Sunday morning (this must be "booked" and paid for in advance - see below)

Collection by Representative. To have a representative pick up your Race Pack on your behalf, the following documentation is strictly required:

Photo copy of Participants NRIC or passport
Letter of Authorisation for Race Pack Collection - MUST be completed and signed by Participant and will have to be signed by Representative when collecting Race Pack
Photo identification of Representative

Race Pack collection at Start. If you are arriving late to Kota Kinabalu and cannot make the Race Pack collection time, you may choose to have it transferred to the start line and pick it up in the morning of the race prior to the start. If you are taking this option, please ensure you are early at the start and immediately go to pick up your Race Pack. This option has to be booked and paid for prior to the Race. When you register via Racematix, you have to choose between "standard pick up" and "Late pick up" - you would select the latter and then pay the fee of RM 30. Deadline for this is 15 May, 2023.

Race Schedule

An outline schedule for (race weekend) is provided below.

Please note that the 25 km race will take place on the Sunday.

Finish Location:

Both the 100-mile race and the 25 km race finish at Kadamaian Square in Taginambur, which is also the starting venue.

Cut off times to complete course:

To manage the course, there will be cutoff times at selected aid stations along the course. The details of these will be informed in due time. The cutoff times are generally generous to allow most runners a good chance to complete the course. The final cutoff time to complete the course has tentatively been set to:

100 Mile Course: 54 hours
25 km Course: 10 hours
